不知不觉，经典好莱坞动画电影《精灵旅社》系列已经拍到了第三部，形态各异的怪兽家庭成员还是个个都有着可爱的脾气，导演和大牌配音等幕后阵容也都是熟悉的原班人马，只不过这一次吸血鬼德古拉一家子和朋友们不再待在古老的精灵旅社里，而是要在游轮上开启一场只属于怪兽们的疯狂度假之旅！
在此前看过《精灵旅社》第一二部的观众，应该已经对电影主要角色关系和之前的剧情有了一些了解，电影《精灵旅社3》在故事情节上是对于前作的延续：德古拉接受了女儿想要和人类在一起的愿望，并且对于可爱的小小“混血”外孙也一视同仁钟爱有加。但是爱情家庭双丰收的女儿看着茕茕孑立 形影相吊的父亲，却感觉自己应该做些什么来终结德古拉内心的百年孤寂。于是，在女儿的怂恿和生拉硬拽之下，德古拉心不甘情不愿地走出旅社大门，踏上了这次远比想象中精彩太多的游轮度假大狂欢，甚至还意外邂逅了一个让他“灵魂出窍”的意中人……
在《精灵旅社3》怪兽的语言和思维逻辑中，他们判断爱情火花有无的方式是看自己是否产生了“zing”。这个只要多说几次就会莫名感到滑稽的单词是什么意思呢，其实怪兽们也没有给它下一个确切的定义，不过有一个判断标准是直截了当的：当你看到一只怪兽（或其他生物），眼睛里出现光耀夺目的玫瑰色闪光时，那么毫无疑问，你就已经有了“zing”。这样看来，zing和crush其实有着相似的意思，大概就是刹那间的电光石火，眼神交错，在一个瞬间就将彼此照亮，看到彼此眼神中的独特光彩，就像在茫茫黑暗中终于划亮了一根火柴，“zing”的一声，仿佛整个天地都通明起来。幸运的是，德古拉在游轮度假的第一天，就收获了属于自己的“zing”，并迅速大胆开展了火烈的求爱攻势，尽管这段爱情要比想象中曲折不少。
其实不得不说，爱情实在是一件太过吊诡的事情，你永远也不会知道它会在什么时候从天而降，将你和另外一个看似毫不相干的人紧紧地用命运之绳捆绑在一起，有些人始终主动追求大胆出击却最终一无所获，有些人无意插柳反而收获了令人艳羡的爱情，还有一些人在经过几次不温不火的尝试以后索性将自己紧紧包裹在壳子里，拒绝再去相信爱情的到来……的确，爱的存在性不容置疑，但能够确定的也只有这一点而已，除了让自己保持一个良好敞开的状态，等待那个命中注定的人到来，其实别无他法。
电影《精灵旅社3》让人懂得，真爱其实是有着跨越一切一往无前的强大力量，也能够让人产生对生活的眷恋和未来的向往。恰逢在今年七夕档上映，对于情侣们而言可以说是相当应景了，其实在追求爱情这件事上，人和怪兽也没有什么本质差别，无非都是在茫茫人海中，寻找着属于自己的“zing”。
