任天堂E3 2018将于北京时间6月13日凌晨0点举行直面会，届时将公布包括【任天堂全明星大乱斗】等游戏最新情报，此外任天堂还将举办【喷射军团2】世界锦标赛和【任天堂明星大乱斗】邀请赛，有及为期3天的树屋演示。

在任天堂面向投资者和分析师的季度会议上，社长君岛达己确认在今年的E3 2017上任天堂不会有一个新闻发布会。
他说：&电子游戏展会E3将在6月在美国洛杉矶举行。今年也是一样，我们不会为机构投资人，分析师和媒体们举行一个大型发布会。&
任天堂没有E3新闻发布会，并不意味着任天堂不会参加E3。君岛达己表示任天堂美国稍后将公布更多细节。他说：&任天堂美国将在晚些时候分享我们未来的计划&。
昨天任天堂公布了2016财年财报，Switch首月出货量达274万台，任天堂非常看好Switch在今年的销量。社长君岛达己解释说，Switch平台还有更多新游戏未公布，这些游戏将进一步激发Switch的销量潜力。
E3 2017，尽管任天堂发布会，但B社，微软，索尼和育碧等厂商依旧有媒体发布会。而EA的话，则自立门户，搞EA Play，也会有新闻发布会。
