　　在目前的版本中盖亚和山顶洞人并非同一类型的角色。盖亚更加类似游戏中白胡子老头那种创世主的角色。现有的游戏内容中，盖亚将和白胡子老者二人一起通过介绍的方式带你熟悉这款游戏，从目前的内容来分析，盖亚会在游戏的一些新增内容中出现为玩家答疑。比如在PLAY模式的教学关中，盖亚会针对关卡任务做一些介绍，对于游戏中新增的素材以及元素盖亚经常会出现予以解释。
　　▍山顶洞人
　　山顶洞人和盖亚以及白胡子老者不同，并非是定位NPC的角色，而是游戏中直接可由玩家操作的角色。在PLAY模式中，目前专门有一个CAVEMAN模式即为山顶洞人的相关游戏内容，主要的玩法还是利用山顶洞人的一些角色特性进行横版闯关的模式。目前山顶洞人可以通过在游戏模式选择界面的左下角点击按钮购买解锁山顶洞人相关的游戏模式以及其他素材。
　　至于怎么控制角色，大致的操作方式依然是利用屏幕左下方的左右移动按钮点击实现移动，利用屏幕右下方的跳跃按钮实现跳跃。
