Dear our players，The production group of Shangshixuan has already set about making the next updating after the collection of a number of suggestions and bugs. Here is the general content:[the Advance Notice of Update]The estimated time of updating will be one month later. A new archive file will be necessary.(since the STEAM always updates the game automatically, if you DO NOT want to start a new archive, please back-up your old versions of the game in advance—find your installation directory, and back-up the folder named Gloria Sinica Han Xiongnu Wars in the folder Steam\steamapps\common. 1. The free-beginning pattern of the game will be released. The game will be more friendly to greenhand or new players due to the increase of the game guide and the tutorials.2. Further optimization of the main map.3. The conditions of learning formation and tactics will be released. For instance, player can get some of the formations or the tactics during the career as a soldier.4. The simplified new-troop-establishment system and the construction system.5. Further optimization of the career as a soldier of every kingdom or empire (which will come with different kinds of tasks) as well as the official position system.6. We will adjust the influence of load bearing, horse speed, exploit decrease due to loss of soldiers.7. The Yanquan Village will not disappear anymore, extra stories will be added.8. Strengthen the game guide during the story mode in order to be easier to new players.9. Adjustment to the odds of the appearance of the NPC will be made.10. Reduce and weaken the number and strength of the bandit on the game map.11. Add dozens of new tips during loading.12. Further optimization of the scene.13. Flash move will be allowed in the game.14. Further optimization of the other bugs according the palyers’ feedback.As a matter of fact, more than 50 affairs we have to cope with is summed up in these 14 abstract, which shows the purpose of our production group. Many of them has been started and some of them has been solved already. Eventually, there is no denying the fact that some of the inevitable or potential insufficient might come to light in the future, but it is true that we must make our greater efforts to make the gradual improvement from now on. About This Game
Gloria Sinica: Han Xiongnu Wars sets the historical background in the eventful years of the early Han Dynasty, and feature in role-playing, real-time strategy and action game plays. Members of ShangShiXuan cohere to archaeological discoveries and historic documents to faithfully preset the culture and scenes of an eastern world.
The game starts during the reign of the Wudi Emperor of Han, and revolves around the wars between the Han Empire and the Xiongnu on the northern steppes, as well as that among other kingdoms, cities and tribes at the time. The in-game world spans from the tribes of Sushen and Fuyu, on the bank of the Black River in the East, to the land of Kangju and Dayuan on the West of the lofty Pamirs. Two hundred cities, large and small, represent more than thirty countries, cultures and tribes at the time.
The game has more than 1000 original weapons, armors, dresses, architecture and other items, carefully made according to recent archaeological findings. Many of them are digitally crafted for the first time, and brings a window for the player to glance at the eastern weaponry and culture from more than two millennia ago.
Qin helmets, Han lamellar, ring-hilt swords, whistling arrows and eagle bows, all help the player experience a warrior’s path from the middle land, into the high steppes, and over the moving sands.
The city scenes present the landscape of regional centers in different cultures. Han Empire has grand palaces, h nomad tribes scatter a in the Southwestern mountains, Dian drums revea in the Western Territory, lofty castles stand along the edge of oasis rivers. The player can visit the taverns, streets, and may meet historic figures that bear familiar names: the great generals like Wei Qing and Huo Qubing, or the commoner warriors akin to Guo Jie and Lei Bei. The player can join their quests and follow the well-known stories from history. Some of them will reward the player with a collection of character cards. When the player decides to step aside from bloodshed, one can work as a trader between the two sides of the Great Wall, or simply tour around the land for places of interest, or foods of great taste.
The player can join the force of a general, follow his commands, garrison at the border and fight in the battles of Monan as to experience of career of a veteran soldier of the Han Empire. The player can also lead a sizable force for one’s own, to stand back on a high rock and issue commands to the formations in the battle ground. With accumulated victories, the player may ascend along military ranks and eventually make to the imperial commander-in-chief. If one wishes, the player can also take down and rule a city for oneself, establish workshops and train one’s new troops, to compete for hegemony among the great emperors and khans.
