Why Early Access?
&ShellShock Live has been community driven from the beginning.
Early Access gives us the opportunity to build the game while receiving feedback from players to ensure that SSL grows to fulfill its potential.&
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
&We plan to keep the game in Early Access until all bugs are squashed and all planned features have been implemented and tested.
We estimate an early 2017 release, but because ShellShock Live will grow and evolve throughout development, we can't be sure of the exact timing.&
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
&The Early Access version will evolve into the Full Version with consistent updates containing new features and fixes.
Even after release, we will continue to update the game regularly with fresh content and features based on community feedback.&
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
&ShellShock Live is already a fully functional game jam-packed with content.
There are currently over 200 weapons, 100 maps, and 80 single-player missions.
There are probably a few stubborn bugs here and there but we'll iron those out as Early Access progresses.
There are also several planned features that we haven't had a chance to build yet.&
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
&The price will likely stay the same upon release, but may change slightly if significant new features and content give more value than we had expected.

Some players have been complaining of connection issues with ShellShock Live for a long time.
Today's mini-update adds a new system that intelligently tries to reconnect users disconnected by an 'EndRead' or 'ReceivedBytes == 0' error.
If reconnected successfully, you should never notice you were disconnected in the first place.
Previously, you would have been kicked out of the game (and match) and forced to reconnect from scratch.
This feature is early in development, so it might not always work, but it's a start.For those of you affected by connection issues, please let me know if this update helps improve the situation.Thanks!-Kyle

A number of players have been encountering a crash bug when switching between weapons of the same type, so we decided to address that with a hotfix update rather than waiting for the next patch.While we’re at it, though, we figured we’d throw in one more useful feature: category tags for Steam Workshop mods! The mod uploader tool now allows you to select one or more tags for your mod, and these can be used to filter searches in the Workshop.
