The ADX250OCK23GQ / ADX250OCGQBOX, the first microprocessor from Athlon II X2 family, was introduced simultaneously with socket AM3 Phenom II X2, X3 and X4 CPUs. The 250 is clocked at 3 GHz, same as Phenom II 545. Even though the ADX250OCK23GQ has twice larger level 2 cache than the 545, it doesn't have level 3 cache, which results in slightly lower, up to 5%, performance of the 250. Performance of the Athlon II X2 250 is even lower, often by 10% or more, in memory intensive applications, including games. Comparing the 250 with Intel microprocessors is difficult due to big differences in microarchitectures and CPU core efficiency. Depending on application, the 250 can be as slow as Pentium Dual-Core E5200, while in other applications it may be on a par with or faster than Pentium Dual-Core E6300.

The box proudly states "True dual-core design", which only makes sense when this processor is compared to obsolete Pentium D dual-core processors (they were manufactured by combining two separate dies in the same package). All Intel Core-based processors can be also called "true dual-core design".The box claims that the total size of cache is 2 MB. In fact, it's the size of L2 cache, and the total size of cache (L1 + L2) is 2.25 MB.
Posted by: gshv
Box has the same size as other boxed Phenom and Phenom II CPUs. Box design is similar to design of cheap Athlon X2 processors, like 4x50e/5050e energy-efficient series, and LE-16x0 series.

BlastThyNameLaptops are not officially supported by the game so good luck with that.
Laptop GPUs in the overwhelming majority of cases are ****e so it's not exactly surprising that you don't pass the minimum requirements.
Jexx21my laptop GPU can play most current-gen games at max settings (not Far Cry 3 though, low-medium for that), but it most likely can't run any next-gen games.
MadDogg59I have no clue when it comes to PC/Laptops. But is my laptop any good?
Windows 7 (64 bit)
Intel core I7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40 GHZ 2.40GHZ
Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M (x2)
Mr_ShadeLatops are not normally supported by Ubisoft titles - due to how intensive they are.
It may work, however performance may vary greatly from a desktop
MadDogg59I just thought I'd ask, I never really played, or have tried to play top demanding games on my laptop. The last game I played on it was Splinter Cell Conviction and that was only because it wasn't released on PS3! And that worked fine.
Mr_ShadeIt may be OK - however you can't really compare games though - since most have different graphics engines - or even the same and enhanced - it's not always simple to guess performance.
Eg. Titanfall
- uses the source engine [though modified] - people expected 100 fps [as they get on HL2 etc] - they got 45/50
BlastThyNameEg. Titanfall
- uses the source engine [though modified] - people expected 100 fps [as they get on HL2 etc] - they got 45/50
Those people were dumb as a stick then. Titanfall is significantly more dynamic than Portal 2, it's only natural that it requires more.
The insane texture settings asks for 3GB but the game does not stream so that explains it.
We will see how &next-gen& the Disrupt engine really is. I'm anticipating significantly worse performance than Black Flag (-30-40%).
The game has apparently a lot going on so that the extreme pressure it will likely put on CPUs could be justified.

Oh I know not to compare games, I was just mentioning the last game I played on my laptop. I'll be getting this game on my PS4 anyway. Thanks anyway Mr_Shade dude.
Jexx21I'll be waiting until I build my new set up to actually get Watch Dogs, but I will rent it for PS4 until that time comes.
DagJacobWhat are you saying about laptops? :( Hurtful!
But quite honestly, there are just a few laptops designed for gaming that never overheats after hours of gaming.
ASUS G750JZ is one of them (in my own experience).
Playing Battlefield 4 with HBAO, Ultra Settings, VSync ON in
resolution is a smooth experience on my laptop.
Same with Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
However, my laptop model came out 1-2 months ago so I have the newest NVIDIA graphics card you can get in a laptop these days.
So I think Watch_Dogs on Ultra Settings will go as smooth as the rest. :o
PS: My CPU is a Intel Core i7-4700HQ CPU @ 2.40GHz (but I know very little to nothing about CPU models).

Disrupt is supposed to be very scalable, so while overall it might be more intensive than AnvilNext, it might also allow greater range.

Don't they always say that X game is scalable ? I'm all for games to be as demanding as possible as long as it's justified.
Nothing I've seen of Watch Dogs truly impresses me aside from the character models.
Based on the Nvidia trailer (which I assume was max settings) textures are very low res for one. The vast majority of gaming GPUs especially on the Nvidia side are VRAM starved but I counted on Ubisoft to make the most of the PS4's ram. I expected the majority of the textures to be 4K.
EDIT : You want max settings ?
Prepare your I7.

LorFolZI have a dual-core processor, 8GB RAM, GTX 660. All games at high quality settings. And now I know that Watch Dogs will not run on dual-core processors. If this is true, I'll NEVER buy games from Ubisoft. And I'm not one of such opinions. What kind of restrictions are!?!?
DigitalXASort of answered your own question there, you know it won't run for you as you stated firstly, but the next part is &if this is true& ?
Watch Dogs will not run for you with that dual core, you'll have to grab a quad core.

Why are you upset ? Progress comes at a cost doesn't it ?
Dual core are ancient, it's time for 4 physical cores to be the bare minimum and hopefully 8 cores will be the norm in 18 months.
I've waited for this for a long time.
Finally, the death of dual core cpus/DX9/32 bits. :)

Recommended says i7 at 3.5 GHz but I believe i5 runs just as well as an i7 with gaming (lots of tech vids on YouTube say this)
GPU and CPU was bought Dec 2012 so will upgrade GPU to a R9 280x or equivalent come Christmas but I'm sure HD 7870 will do fine till then. The i5 will be fine for much longer I hope.
Can't wait for 27 May

Crysis 3 disagrees.

And this is only the beginning. I think your I5 will be plenty sufficient but an I7 will offer tangible benefits in next-gen games.

This is not progress, it is unreasonably high demands! Other normal game quietly working with dual-core processors, what's special about this game? In fact all the same. Unexpectedly, this attitude from Ubisoft.

I don't get this frame of mind.
Watch Dogs has very impressive simulations going on behind the scene, and many AIs, the CPU requirements seem justified for me.
You are probably confused by games asking more and more of your hardware and you shouldn't : AAA PC games will require more and more, that's a very good thing imo.
It's about time dual core cpus are left out in the cold, I can't see any downside to it.
SnufflyLakeHello i was just wandering if you think that an Intel i3 2100 will be able to handle this game ?
It does meet the minimum requirements as an Intel i3 2100 is quite a bit faster than a core 2 quad, but the Intel i3 is only dual core with 4 threads and the core 2 quad has 4 physical cores.
Does this game count the threads or does it only rely on 4 physical cores ?
I was about to pre order this game earlier on but then I saw a post with someone saying that an Intel i3 will not stand a chance.
Here are my specs :
Intel i3 2100 @ 3.10 Ghz Dual core + 4 threads (Acts as quad core)
Does anyone think that i might be able to run it ?
I've never had a problem playing any game before, anything that i have tested on it it's been able to run it maxed out. Crysis 3, AC4, Blacklist ect.
BlastThyNameHello i was just wandering if you think that an Intel i3 2100 will be able to handle this game ?
Possibly, given that it has HT.

Medium to high would be my guess.
Intel i7 4770
8 gigs ram
according to the Geforce website I can run the game at high settings.

I think scalability is just as important. Watch Dogs isn't graphics porn, it isn't Crysis. The purpose of the game is not simply to have gorgeous graphics. The purpose of the game, from a gameplay perspective, is the open-world with the hacking mechanic, and from a story perspective is freedom vs. security, blah blah.
The graphics undoubtedly enhance that, but (very high-end, expensive enthusiast) graphics should not arbitrarily limit to who can play the game--because, again, the &point& isn't graphics.
An example is The Witcher 2. Looks gorgeous, but it scales absolutely terribly, (RED Engine is) one of the worst engines I've ever encountered. The graphics aren't the point of the game. So the people who are interested in a grey on grey morality story of politics, but don't buy $200 graphics cards? SOL. That's not me btw, I can play it fine (now), but still it's a terrible idea to not have scalability when it's only an arbitrary exclusion.
Wh1t3_5t0rmMy first post on Ubi Forums!
So, the PS4 has a GPU equivalent to a GTX 660 and runs on High at
and a GTX 670 on PC can run this game on Ultra at the same res. Will, in theory, a GTX 770 run the game on Ultra at 1080p?
Overall, the graphics quality on this game looks like GTA IV or Skyrim with ENB, except it's even better and better optimized (from what I heard). Every trailer looks real and there is a bit of uncanny valley here and there, but it overall looks great.

Nvidia drivers might do something bad to your PC. The only solution to this is simply buy a new card.
Tully__Hello
i need help:

Be more careful about reading the system requirements before purchase in future. You will need a graphics card on the supported list or at least that supports DX11 to even have a chance of running the game. This means checking that the rest of your computer is up to the required standard, then buying a graphics card that will run the game and installing it (or having someone skilled do it for you).
If the rest of your computer is not up the minimum requirements, you'll need a whole new computer. I'd recommend a desktop as laptops are not supported for most Ubi games.
Eternal_Shadowsactually i think some machines below that cpu mark can still run the game i.e i have a quad Qghz and i still believe i can run this game fine

Indeed, in some cases that may be true if you're not far below, but Ubisoft do not guarantee that it can run and will not provide support unless the computer meets at least all of the minimum specs. I'm not an employee, but with the moderator tag next to my name and not having tested it myself I'm not going to make any promises for machines that don't meet spec.

ah well black flag is similar within the CPU GHZ range which is 2.60ghz while watchdogs is 2.66GHZ and i can run black flag fine only had a slight lag once at sea upon the mast but it soon sorted itself out, the cpu i have is a quad core qghz, but i normally have my games windowed so i can access fb and steam chat :L even if i have to have the graphics on medium not gonna make much difference but ill still be happy :)

not sure what all these number mean exactly lol

Thanks mate, I'm not sure if its listing the right graphics card where im getting my pc from,, i cant find a GTX 670 1GB anywhere online, I can only find 2 GB versions, so the card could either be a GTX 650 1GB or a GTX 670 2GB, bloody confusing.

Hum...There is no GTX 670 with 1GB.
I would have chosen a K variant of the 4770, the S version is made to consume less but it will also lead to worse performance.
I hope you didn't pay more than 500? for that, otherwise that's one hell of a rip-off.

Well...The game has not released yet but according to Morin 3GB is required for 1080p/ultra textures settings.
So no, you are bottlenecked by your low amount of VRAM. However, you will only have a single setting to lower, you can set everything else at ultra.

HvedingHi!
From what i have read, the game demands alot of CPU power, but this i don't know to much about.
Im just wondering if my i 5-GHz CPU can handle the game (it's not overclocked).
I got a Sapphire R9 290 4GB TRI-X OC, will i be able to run the game at ULTRA ?
tcbys1I got an I7 2700K,GTX 780ti,16GB of Ram and I cant maintain 60 FPS on Ultra. I can barely get 60 on the max settings, and the game doesnt look like it did at E3 2013. Graphic downgrade for sure.
FlyingspiderbabI am quite angered at Ubisoft for the way at which its handling its PC release of Watchdogs. It should have been made more clear that Directx 11 was the minimumneeded for the game to be played. At this very time there are 1,1014 entries on the steam user fourms complaining of not being able to play your game due to their lack of Direct x 11 all because you didnt make it evident enough that it was the minimum needed. I did not find out this Cruicial piece of information until i went looking for it. It is a shame that so many people will be forced to spend and extra 70-100 euro just to play a single game. I expect eitheer an incredible quick fix to allow many people to play your game or your going to have to refund alot of our money.

Those people should probably learn to read.
You just have to.....read the minimum specs to get that DX11 is absolutely required.
They have no excuses.

Umm... It actually states a DirectX 11 card as a minimum requirement. Hell, it's even on the first post of this thread. This isn't the fault of Ubisoft, this is the fault of people who didn't address the minimum system requirements before purchasing. They can only blame themselves.

Feenix2006Ok so i'm running

Can run everything to ultra settings but V Sync seems to be the real problem. If I turn it on the framerate dips noticeably lower than 60 with any motion. Turn it off and I get great framerates but noticeable occasional tearing. Switching the AA settings can help but more than anything V Sync is the worst offender hitting performance. Odd.

GTX 760 / i5 3570 / 8 GBs of RAM here and I get the same results. Everything on ultra, apart from textures and I get 45+ fps at all times. Thing is, the game does not support Tripple Biffering and using adaptive Vsync from the Nvidia Control Panel or through the D3DOverrider application does not work.
FreshAir50OK, hate it when you spend so much money for these games and they have issues right away..
Downloaded via Steam account, pre-loaded, installed, tried to play it after it was available and all i get is an error message that the game has to run on &Windows Vista SP1 or higher&.. Well hello, I have Windows 7 Ultimate...
Any help??
Spent all this money for nothing..
Anyone else have this problem&

utackMy systems has the regular Frame Drops.
Bye Bye Watch Dogs, hello Mario Kart 8. At least one company left that produces decent quality!
Peeet86So, i'am Downloading it right now, 6mbit FTW , and i was reading some reviews while thats going on. One of the reviews outcome was that you need more then 3Gb VRam on your Graphics card, at Ultra Settings, others wise it would stutter. If that is true, would that mean that everyone that was buying a 4Gb Vram Card, or more, is now the quiet Winner? I bought myself a nice beefy System with a i5 3570k / 8Gb Ram 2133 / 3Gb 780 Superjetstream lately and i'am slightly worried.
Maybe its still just a Optimizations issue, but that would be horrible also.
JardenWell i just installed Watch Dogs and even thought i am running the recommended specs the game is choppy as hell.
Game in a close space (like the starting area) can run in between 70-20fps in a blink of an eye.
By the &blink of an eye& i mean moving mouse for a 1cm (or inch if you prefer), not mentioning the fact that it just stutters in some points like there was some sort of streaming problem.
The car chase is pretty much unplayable at this point.
By the way: the mouse acceleration is TERRIBLE in menu and even worse in-game.
Camera movement is decent but when you pull your gun out its like there were two different &systems& responsible for those aspects of the game, very weird and annoying as hell.
Core i7 4770k
MSI Z87 GD65
Geforce GTX780
SSD OCZ Vertex 4 256GB - WD is installed on SSD.
TonyStark1233About graphics I won't tell anything, the computer at me rather quite good because all last novelties, were started on ultra. But once watch dogs started, a bough there were glitches. Anything supernatural in graphics there it wasn't observed. Driving, simply caused in me laughter, a bough yes a horse in red dead redemption more pleasant to operate, than here. The gameplay seemed to me, quite monotonous, you go you scan all and everything, as the ****ing scanner (yes I recognize that played it all hour or so, but believe me it sufficed)
many thanks to you for this masterpiece, I won't buy any more your production, I waited this game very long...and that I saw an awful fake and you still postponed release on whole half a year.Ha Ha that for **** you wanted to offer then in November of last year

The game does support triple buffering. Have you noticed the &GPU buffered frame& setting ?
Set it to 3 and voilà no more 60-or-30 vsync.
Anything between 30 and 60 with vsync but you will have to cope with input lag.

I haven't received my copy yet, I'm basing this on my experience at the store where I work.
We have dozens of mid to high-end PCs and we ordered plenty of Watch Dogs copies too !
So I tested the game with the latest WHQL drivers and the performance is.....Very, very uneven to say the least.
On OC'd 770 like the one I have a simply can't get a locked 60 no matter the settings, it varies greatly and I'm not talking about max settings which wrecks a Titan.
You better have 4GB if you want 1080p/ultra everything and some expensive AA solution on top of that.
The game brought a 780ti to its knee especially when driving fast, 3GB just does not seem to be enough for ultra textures, a Titan didn't do much better in spite of having twice the available VRAM...
So...It does not really run all that great even though the game looks really nice.
It's weird that the setting doesn't work in your case, it worked fine on pretty much every PC I've played the game on.
The game most definitely needs a patch of two to improve performance, something is amiss with regards to the VRAM needs.
I really wanted to defend this game because I'm glad to see more demanding releases coming out but I just can't say with a straight face that the game does justice to high-end hardware available right now. A 780/780ti should be able to do much better than that, I understand no hardware has infinite power but Watch Dogs is still a cross-gen game let's not forget about that.
I have to ask, what's going to happen when The Division, The Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight or AC Unity come out ? If it takes that much horsepower to run Watch Dogs at maximum settings then I dread to think how many renderfarms will be needed for the above mentionned titles.
I can see many PC gamers giving up on the platform in the next few months, and I can understand them.
trowieukubisoft mod makes a thread saying if you meet these requirements your pc can run this. Lies. My pc exceeds requirements and I get 30-40 fps. No word as to when a fix is available, nothing, we just sit here in hopes that I haven't waited money buying deluxe edition and time downloading.
YokymoI7 4770k, R9 270x, 8GB ram, and 1 TB HD..Everything runs fine.. But I can't get past the 1st Custscene of Watchogs without it crashing?? What the hell..
FreshAir50Ok, this will be the last time i will pre-order any game, especially some deluxe edition / early BS because its a waste of time and money.. Total rip-off in the industry.. Better off just waiting a couple of months when the coast is clear and everything is ironed out..
The nerve to tell me that i need Windows Vista or higher, when I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit, 3.31 GHz, 16G RAM etc...
Thanks for taking my money
(there should be some law about online rip-offs)
JaziosRunning perfectly fine for me on Ultra, no real glitches to speak of. Had a bit of an fps drop while motion blur was on but as soon as I turned it off (cos lets be fair it's **** in every game) everything was fantastic.
mickyboy12i have a AMD FX 8350 EIGHT CORE PROCESSOR , 8GIG OF RAM ON A R9280X-DC2 TOP GRAPHICS CARD ON WINDOWS 7 64BIT , WORKS GREAT :)
caeDeZzwell, I know I havent got the minimum requirements in terms of my CPU (Intel Core2Duo E8400) but I really hadnt have any problems with this yet in many other games - I can play Battlefield 3 on Ultra Settings with 40 fps, which graphics really isnt that bad - the graphic I had by completele downing graphic settings in Watch Dogs looked a lot worse than that tbh ...
So, Im not able to play even on minimal settings, not even partly - its about 5-10 fps with 2-5sec freezes every 30 sec ...
My complete PC speccs are:
- Intel C2D E8400
- GeForce 460 GTX
(updated driver to
As I said I know my CPU is kind of a problem, but Im still kind of really depressed by the complete unplayability

Non of those games (at least non from companies outside Ubisoft) will work that bad.
Witcher 2 was a great looking game (hell it still is) and played great on max setting (without ubersampling) on my much less powerful PC, so does all Arkham games.
Problem with Watch Dogs is that Ubi screwed up, plain and simple, they released an unoptimized crap for PC gamers to &enjoy&.
Probably Ubi will say something next week, something like &we didn't know the game has those issues, we are currently looking how to resolve them& and after a month when every PC gamer will forget there was disaster called &Watch Dogs& they release a patch.
And before anyone will say &but the consoles look and plays perfect&, no they does not look the same, the difference between PS4 and PC is clearly visible, lower resolution, less particle effects and fps cap set to 30 and the game still dips below that.
PS4 and XO are better optimized because if they run like crap the game would be condemned to fail and Ubi would loose loads of money and PC is (as ALWAYS) left behind for some inexplicable reason.

The worst thing is they delayed the game to &polish& it. You should have delayed it ALOT more.

Although i am wondering what the game was before the delay, it must have been a total disaster on all platforms:/

Why would anyone go console? Even the worst ports have a better performance on a mid-range PC than they do on consoles: Thief, Tomb Raider, even Watch Dogs.

game pretty much unplayable above lowest settings, stuttering everywhere, soaks up the whole 2gig vram even on the lowest possible settings. No idea what kind of specs you demand for this game, but I exceed the recommended ones and am barely able to play on the lowest available settings.
Merlin0seRunning the game totally fine on med-high (which is a wonder) with my fx 6100(damn you amd! it was cheap ...and i was drunk...), gtx 760 and 16 gigs of ram.

manetaI should play the game at ultra and seems that I cant even pass the intro scene. And why does it spam me with: you need windows vista sp1 or higher?
Who in its right mind uses vista?
ceaton88Runs perfectly for me, which I am thankful for after all these stories of bad performance. I'm getting a constant 50fps & it doesn't fluctuate which is a bonus. Everything is maxed @ 1080p apart from textures is one notch down to save some VRAM
EDIT: Used the following guide & now have maxed textures & recommended AA (Temp SMAA), with solid 60 FPS on V-sync

I cant even run all in low without stuttering..Alot fps drops...So we need a PATCH asap
utackSo we need a PATCH asap
Hey it was 6 months delayed for polishing, just for you :p
So i guess in November they had the engine ready and were like: Hey, let's make a story, textures, city and everything else. And then in May we throw it at the market and wait for the GPU vendors to make drivers that deal with out shⅈt
Peeet86Finally installed and ........ What the ****.
ghz Watercooled, gtx780 Superjetstream, 8gb Ram 2133
The game runs like crap when i play on Ultra or High, but it shouldn't do that and it looks like **** if i turn the settings down.
Patch is needed asap.
I am kind of &meh whatever&, cause i got the game together with my 780, on the other hand ,this almost unplayable Game is making the card more expensive in my overall price calculation now. Well, at least for now.

Weird thing is that my fps is pretty much the same when i am playing the game on everything set to lowest settings and high settings. around 25 fps. my rig can almost max out crisis 3... but cant play this game which looks much much worse on low. WHAT HAPPEND? I should be able to play this on high with 50 - 60 fps. Now i play on low with 20 - 30 fps
Can i get my money back somehow?

Unplayable on all settings due to stutter that renders driving sections impossible. Apart from when using medium textures which look like something from 1994. Arguably I can &run& the game but you wouldn't want to &play& it.

Mostly playable when on foot with ultra settings, FXAA, , MHBAO, though it clearly chugs from time to time - I put that at least partly down to the decision by Ubi to intentionally kneecap AMD cards by using Nvidia's &Gameworks&.
However, as with pretty much anyone else, it's a stuttery mess when you're driving in a car.
I've heard that reducing textures to &High& might mitigate this problem somewhat, but frankly, I shouldn't have to do that.
I own a PS4, and the entire reason I got this game for PC instead, was for the Ultra settings, since WD devs already confirmed that console ports are equivalent to &High& settings.
I'm incredibly disappointed, because my specs meet/exceed the specs laid out by Ubi's own devs, for what was necessary to play at Ultra settings without issue.
It's well known that you can never trust Ubisoft's PC releases, because they are usually a poorly optimized mess, but I gave it a go this time becase they had said loudly and proudly that PC was the lead platform for this game.
Boy do I feel like a fool.
The game actually looks quite nice - particularly when it's raining - but not good enough to justify how poorly it runs.
And I hate how they've tried to excuse issues by pointing to the PC's lack of &unified memory& ala the PS4 -- was the PC the lead platform, or not?
As it stands, I'm waiting for a patch, to see what they come up with.

It's not that. They were just jumping at anything they did not have to make themselves, because the PC Version was just a side effect that should be made quick and dirty to get more money from pre-orders.
My friend has a R9 270x, I have a GTX 660. It runs equally sh*t on both, cannot see any difference tbh.

It's true that the game is not running that well on either GPU platform right now, but the R9 290 is essentially equivalent to a 780 GTX (according to neutral benchmarking) - which they said was the requirement for Ultra settings.
The 290 even has an extra GB of VRAM, which is supposedly all important for this game's &Ultra& settings.
I don't think the Gameworks nonsense is the main performance roadblock right now, but it's definitely a factor for AMD cards.

I have played for hours at default &high& settings with &ultra& textures.
The game would lag bad at times, especially when driving.
The VRAM usage was always at 3GB, likely because of ultra textures combined with 1440p.
Lowering the textures to &high& helped a little, but it was still too choppy to enjoy playing, but my VRAM usage would sit around 2.8GB so I know that it helped a little.
I have settled on &medium& settings at 1440p with Temporal SMAA and &high& textures.
The game doesn't look all that great, but at least it's smooth for the most part.
There is still lag at times, especially when driving, but not nearly as often and as bad as having the settings on &high.& I have tried ultra settings just for the heck of it, and needless to say, it was completely unplayable, felt like 2-3 fps during a car chase.

My rig is three years old and there is always a game that comes along and just wrecks your system and gives you a wake up call to buy a new one,...this game does that to mine.
I cannot play this game!
I meet minimum specs,..I can play online games like Elder Scrolls Online and Marvel Heroes Online very high or Ultra settings no issues and first person shooters like Wolfenstein New Order on high settings with lag,... but this game ...wont get passed loading screen or if I do it crashes after a few minutes of playing.
I really want to play this game,..but I might be forced to buy a PS4 to play it
Its not your rig. I cannot play this game at an enjoyable experience.

The game's engine is called Disrupt because it disrupts and rapes my system. I get this consist freeze frame bull**** and when the game wants to run ok I get frame freezing. I just reinstalled Windows 7 three weeks ago because of some issues I had with my administrative tools.
Ubisoft, your game has poor optimization and i can point out a few flaws
1) thread optimization. This game is poor on my quad core. One core is being used to the max and all of the other ones are basically under 20% load.
2) GPU resources. My 760's usage is up and down. When I am not moving the usage go in between 10 and 90 and I still get frame skipping.
3) make proper use of the page file. its there for a reason.
Scottoest3) make proper use of the page file. its there for a reason.
I've actually found that flagging the executable to disable the page file, can mitigate some of the stuttering when driving.
Not sure if it would be stable with 8GB of RAM, as I've got 16GB, but worth a shot.
No question that the engine is pretty horribly optimized, however.

I should have about the double performance for Ultra settings. When I set the graphics to ultra settings with only FXAA I get on the street about 30 fps and a hardcore stuttering. Driving is impossible. When I switch all graphics to low I get about 70 fps and it looks like GTA 3. And it still stutters while driving. After trying to find a solution for this enormous performance problem I closed the game and googled. But after that I wasn't anymore able to start the game because it crashed every time at the screen with the saving information. I installed the newest graphics drivers and tried a lot of solutions I found on the internet. Nothing worked. Only option will be to try to reinstall the game JUST to be able to search for a solution so the game could be playable.
My conclusion: This game doesn't even run properly on a ; gaming PC. There aren't even words for how disappointed I am.
EDIT: After shutting down crossfire it works again. With the same performance as before. Seems like it just didn't use the second graphics card at all at the beginning. This is just crazy and unacceptable.

Runs great with everything at High with TSMAA and MHBAO.
No crashes to desktop, very minor stutter only when steering while driving (no stutter in a straight line...).
No bugs, online/offline all working well.
Getting into Uplay was a pain on launch day, no issues since then.
However, CHECK YOUR SYSTEMS folks!!!
This weekend went to see a friend, who has a much better rig than me (i7 4770, 16GB RAM, gtx 780ti, SSD) and it was running dreadful for him.
However his PC was a mess.
Nearly 20 items running at startup, dozens of services he didn't need, few bits of adware/spyware.
More money than sense.
Spent half an hour cleaning it all down for him, removed a bunch of junk he didn't need and it ran same as mine, except on Ultra.
Seriously, most gamers should stick to consoles... :
Bonesmasher518I'm playing with an ASUS G74SX. Everything about this laptop is golden, sure it may be a couple of years old now, but it still kicks titanfall in 3D (not that I do that often), but I can play most games on high settings if not 3D. The only potential thing that I might have an issue would be my processor which is an i7 - 2670QM @ 2.20GHz. The fact that I can't play this game with at least minimal settings or even lowest settings is bullcrap.....It's almost like they set a frame limiter or something because anytime I move to fast or am in a car, the frames drop and it has an unbearable stutter, even with audio. I'm not going to say that this game is horrible, but I feel that it wasn't properly optimized for pc users. When I can play GTA, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry 3, Skyrim, and multiple MMO's perfectly on high details just mind boggles me. Hoping Ubisoft comes out with there said patch to fix this, but until then, I'm done
