CSS Tools: Reset CSS
The goal of a reset stylesheet is to reduce browser inconsistencies in things like default line heights, margins and font sizes of headings, and so on.
The general reasoning behind this was , if you're interested.
Reset styles quite often appear in CSS frameworks, and the original "meyerweb reset" found its way into , among others.
The reset styles given here are intentionally very generic.
There isn't any default color or background set for the body element, for example.
I don't particularly recommend that you just use this in its unaltered state in your own projects.
It should be tweaked, edited, extended, and otherwise tuned to match your specific reset baseline.
Fill in your preferred colors for the page, links, and so on.
In other words, this is a starting point, not a self-contained black box of no-touchiness.
If you want to use my reset styles, then feel free!
It's all explicitly in the public domain (I have to formally say that or else people ask me about licensing).
You can grab
to use and tweak as fits you best.
If you're more of the copy-and-paste type, or just want an in-page preview of what you'll be getting, here it is.

Ed Davis (shoulder) has been cleared for on-court work.
Considering Davis has already been cleared for on-court work, there's no much doubt regarding his status for training camp. However, he'll again be fighting for minutes in a crowded frontcourt rotation in Portland next season, so he's off the fantasy radar in most formats.
Davis expects to be ready by training camp, but with him now done for the year, he belongs on the waiver wire in all formats. Davis' minutes will be divvied up between Meyers Leonard and Noah Vonleh, but neither of those guys can be viewed as viable targets in most leagues.
Davis will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder to repair a torn labrum that will sideline him for the remainder of the 2016-17 campaign. However, when asked if he'll be back by the start of next season, Davis replied: &For sure.& Davis has one year left on his contract with the Blazers. He should obviously be left on the waiver wire in all leagues.
It's been a really rough day for season-ending injuries. Davis will have the surgery on Tuesday in Los Angeles, but hopefully he'll be ready for next year. He has been dealing with this injury since the 2015-16 season and it has been getting progressively worse. Meyers Leonard will get most of the backup center minutes behind Jusuf Nurkic.

Connaughton was the No. 41 pick in 2015 and he's yet to make a dent in the Blazers' rotation, but the trade sending Allen Crabbe to Brooklyn gives him a chance to stick around. He's professed a desire to become an impact NBA player, rather than pursuing a path as a pitcher in the MLB, and the next few years could be make-or-break for those plans.
He caught a knee to his thigh and apparently it's caused some bruising. Before the injury, Collins didn't have the strongest showing in Vegas this past weekend with a five-point Sunday and a 10-point outing on Saturday. He should have a chance to get backup minutes at the five, but he doesn't have fantasy value in most leagues.
Considering Davis has already been cleared for on-court work, there's no much doubt regarding his status for training camp. However, he'll again be fighting for minutes in a crowded frontcourt rotation in Portland next season, so he's off the fantasy radar in most formats.
Mike Gallagher and Ryan Knaus go over the rookies, the Crabbe deal and a lot more in this edition.

James Harden said he plans on staying with the Rockets for the rest of his career.
&I know where I want to be,& He said. &I know where I want to retire ultimately and where I want to win a championship. Everything is going to happen here in Houston, and that’s the reason I’m here forever.& After adding on four years to his deal worth $228 million, he will be under contract through the 2022-23 season and won't be a free agent until he's 33. Harden will spend more time off the ball with Chris Paul in town, but coach Mike D'Antoni hinted that he will stagger them as much as possible -- expect at least one of them to be on the floor at all times in close games. His value might take a small hit, but he's still a no-brainer pick in the first round.
The deal will reportedly go for $228 million under the NBA's new Designated Player Exception. Harden has two more years at $59 million, then he'll waive his player option and have the extension kick in. &Houston is home for me. Mr. Alexander has shown he is fully committed to winning,& Harden said. While there are other factors, it's still hard to believe the Rockets added him for just Jeremy Lamb, Kevin Martin and draft picks.
Harden is getting a little over $91 million for the next three seasons with a player option on the third year. The NBA added a Designated Player Exception, which could lock up Harden beyond the 2022 season and guarantee him $228 million -- the Wizards are also trying to do this on John Wall. The Rockets have made it clear they're doing all they can to compete with a team that general manager Daryl Morey called &a juggernaut& this week, so Harden may have bought in for Houston.
There's no surprise here, and D'Antoni also said that Harden will remain &on the point a lot.& CP3 and Harden will likely be staggered in the rotation, keeping one of them on the court at all times, which was hinted at in D'Antoni's quotes. &The year before ... we moved [Harden] over to point guard, and now we're going [to] probably move him back [to shooting guard] for a large part of the game. He'll still be on the point a lot.& The newly-minted Coach of the Year had one of the league's fastest and most-efficient offenses, prior to CP3's arrival, so this superstar backcourt shouldn't be an issue for fantasy owners.
