DOTA2最尴尬？玩家称风暴英雄与英雄联盟争雄
《》Alpha版客户端的泄漏，是暴雪历史上极少见的事情。暴雪自然不愿意这样的东西在网上由玩家随意散布，同时玩家们则为此欢呼雀跃。
尽管玩家们会吐槽暴雪不是以前的那个暴雪，但是对于暴雪的品质，玩家们仍然报着很高的期待和信心，因此大家都在热烈的讨论着《风暴英雄》。从这次事件玩家们的反馈来看，这个游戏已经获得了较高的评价。
国内的某个下载链接，不过一天时间下载次数就超过1万，还不包括玩家之间的其它分享。泄漏怎么来的已不重要，重要的是全世界许多玩家已经玩到了这个版本。

仅凭这几点，《风暴英雄》带来的改变是颠覆性的。我们还不能说这样的改动一定很好，但是改变就意味着另一种巨大的可能。
游戏节奏的加快
《风暴英雄》的许多改动，都是为了加快游戏的节奏。快节奏的游戏是一个趋势，玩一场花不了多少时间，容易更受玩家欢迎。《DOTA2》尽管质量也颇高，但是对于不少人来说，打一场太累太耗时间。
于是暴雪干脆一改到底，对于《风暴英雄》来说游戏就是一场20分钟的事情，追求团队作战的爽快，试图以此做出改变。
