A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for all of South Texas from midnight tonight through noon Monday. Wind chills will fall into the low to mid 20s.
Much colder temperatures tonight with lows in the 30s.
Late in the night light freezing rain will be possible in the northwest while light rain or drizzle remains possible elsewhere.
Arctic air mass will surge south into the region on New Year's Day. Temperatures are expected to fall below freezing Monday night into Tuesday morning. Lows are expected to fall into the mid to upper 20s for most inland areas. Only along the immediate coastline will temperatures be near freezing. A Freeze Watch is in effect for all of South Texas. Preparations should be made to protect sensitive outdoor vegetation and exposed pipes.
The arctic airmass will surge into the region Sunday night leading to much colder temperatures for New Year's Day through the middle of the week. Light freezing rain possible over the northern Brush Country early Monday morning.
Then sleet will be possible from the Brush Country to the Coastal Bend from Monday morning through afternoon. Chances for precipitation will diminish Monday night. A hard freeze is expected Tuesday morning. Less cloud cover Tuesday night will lead to the coldest readings Wednesday morning. A warming trend is expected the remainder of the week.

TX的夏天真的是热的要死。暑假过半终于下定决心出去走走。身体和灵魂总有个要在路上。虽然顶着烈日，心情还是不错的。看了几篇攻略大体有了计划，开始了我们的短途旅行。起点是College&Station，历时三天两夜。
必备物品tips：
处了平时出行要用的东西，要备好防晒倍数很高的防晒霜和防晒喷雾。备一个晒后修复的芦荟胶或者喷雾也是必要的。推荐trader&joe‘s有一个绿色瓶装的芦荟胶。
海滩上可以穿泳衣，带不带看偏好。
I20&护照（for&international&student）。
防中暑药物和足量的水。
第一天早上8点带好行李加满油出发。第一站是Corpus&Christi。行程4小时。沿途风景很好，路上车辆不很多，经常是前后没车，开起来还是很欢乐的。到达CC去吃午饭。都说CC的brunch很出名，我们就提前找好了一家yelp上评价很高的餐厅Hester’s&Cafe&&&Coffee&Bar。环境和食物都不错。House&coffee蛮好喝。
简单的休息后我们到了USS&lexington&museum。“号航空母舰（USS&Lexington&CV-16）是一艘隶属于海军的航空母舰，为级航空母舰的八号舰。她是美军第五艘以为名的军舰，纪念和战役；该战役为独立战争的首场战斗。”（from&wikipedia）门票$16没有学生折扣，不过还是蛮值得看一看的。甲板上看海景也蛮好。推荐。
下一站是Texas&State&Aquarium。水族馆不是很大，不过如果去的时间比较巧还是能看到很多很有趣的动物表演。推荐提前看一下他们的时间表，不要错过。

傍晚时候我们去了A&M在CC的校区。
学校很小。出门右转往前开一点，左手边是一片海滩。很多人在钓鱼。我们刚好去看了日落。最美不过夕阳红。夕阳真的很美好。
之后去吃完饭。因为是沿市，我们找了一家餐厅吃海鲜。有一种鱼叫mahi&mahi还不错。其他的海鲜也很新鲜。
晚饭后回住处休息。宾馆提前定了会便宜很多。
第二天早上8点起床吃饭。收拾停当9点出发到下一站——Padre&Island&&Seashore。路上找了一家HEB买了些熟食、水果、面包，放在cooler里面保鲜。大约十点到目的地，海滩上人已经不少了。在customer&service租了一顶很大的遮阳伞，然后换好泳衣去海里面耍。千万记得喷很多防晒霜和喷雾，不然要晒脱一层皮。累了就到遮阳伞下面坐着沙滩椅看风景喝冰水，还是蛮不错。CS有洗澡的地方，也不用担心身上粘粘的没法清理。
午饭在customer&service的picnic解决。吹着海风吃午饭很舒服。
饭后驱车开往下一站South&Padre&Island。我们大约5点半到达，提前去The&Original&Dolphin&Watch(http://theoriginaldolphinwatch.net/)买好了7点的票去看海豚。中间时间很紧张就在不远的Sea&Ranch&Restaurant&and&Bar。依旧吃海鲜。味道很好也新鲜。推荐。6点45分左右返回夹板等上船。我们坐在二楼。起初一段很平静，坐船看海景。到某个特定的地方船员会提醒乘客可以看到海豚了。海豚们总是那么可爱的嬉戏着。一两只海鸥也会追着船走，建议可以带些面包，会吸引来很多海鸥。
海上看日落感觉也很不同，适合照相留念。
回去住处赶紧睡觉。第二天早上5点起床去海边看日出。地址设定Beach&access&Five。宾馆小哥说那里是看日出最好的地方。海滩上很多帐篷，不得不说这里真的是个露营的好地方。大约6点40太阳慢慢升起来了(需要提前查好日出时间)。非常神圣的感觉(微笑），虽然之前还在抱怨不够时间睡觉但是那一刻觉得一切都值得。
从海滩离开大约8点。去吃早饭。
早饭后我们去了South&Padre&Island&Birding&Center。虽然没有报很高期望不过确实很小。进去后走栈道看鸟儿们的栖息地。走到尽头的凉亭是完全在海上的，非常适合照相留念。
下一站是Sea&Turtle&Rescue&Center。依然非常小。工作人员介绍说这里是负责收养些生病的海龟。海龟都在一个个大大的塑料池子里面，比较有教育意义。
最后一站是著名的SPI&Lighthouse。灯塔顶上可以360度看到周边的风景。
经过7个小时的车程我们终于回到了Cll。
Only&hate&the&road&when&you’re&missing&home。
虽然很疲惫不过总还是不虚此行。
