Intelligent machines such as robots are increasingly being used. They can do many things that used to be done by human. Discu the benefits and dangers.
For centuries, people have fantasized that someday machines could have intelligence like mankind and work as faithful servants. Today this dream has come true in many fields thanks to rapid development in artificial intelligence research. Wonderful as this seems, machines have problems.
To begin with, people lose jo when machines take their places, e ecially in the ma production industry such as automobile busine . In factories of the famous car company Ford, almost every step of car making is done by giant robots that work faster with higher reliability and precision than human labor. Because of the adoption of robots, thousands of workers are put out of their old jo and forced to make changes in their work. Even such changes create job o ortunities because robots need people to take care of and operate, the number of new jo is much smaller than that of lost, thus causing huge pre ure on the labor market and government.
People become le smart because of the wide use of machines in their life. Nowadays people need to use their brain le than they did in the past. Everything is programmed and the only thing we need to do is to push a button or throw on a switch. This has given us great convenience but made us lazier and le smart. Everyone has the awkward moment troubling with the elling of a simple word when writing with a pen. But with a computer, it will automatically proofread the elling and grammar of your writing. So people become le concerned with learning things right. This is not a progre but a regre of our intelligence and culture.
But machines have many benefits that nobody can deny such as great work efficiency and low cost of ma production. The workload that could take months to finish by manual labor could be done flawle ly by robots in minutes. We have more purchasing power to enjoy a wider variety of goods and services because of the reduction of production costs with factories using machines. Other benefits include that machines could do dangerous jo for people in high risk busine es like mining and co truction.
To conclude, machines have many merits that make our life easier and more convenient, but they have caused many problems such as undercutting our job o ortunities and overdependence on machines.

Men used to cut trees with hand saw, but now, with electronic saw they can cut down a tree in only a few minutes. Could you image, if the robots are used to do this kind of work, what screen would be? No need done work by hand, it can be fulfilled by efficient robots. Yes. Robots have brought and are to have brought about remarkable benefits to mankind. Robots have been used in many fields for modern technology advancing, which makes our lives much safer, more comfortable and more efficient. With the guys, scientists could explore some dangerous places or that kind of places where people is hardly to reach. Experts could just stay at their la and focus on analyzing and proce ing the feedback data rather than experience horrible situatio . Furthermore, robots could complete a bulk of a ignments within a short time just like the example stated at the begi ing and also their high efficiencies are helpful for the raising efficiencies of working and improving the living quality of human beings. Busine man could go on doing his affairs in his car i tead of driving for himself. Housewife shouldn’t end much time on washing dishes and cutting gra in the garden i tead of accompanying with her hu and and communicating with her child. However, there is an increasing argument that how we could go on living without them if we are so dependent on them. As the increasing number of using robots, people get so lazy that doing somewhat simply work even lose abilities of that. In the future, cooking perha just is a word we always say but never really know how to cook exactly. What is worse, there may be a day that man could be controlled by robots. We will lose our freedom as their slaves. Yet, they are only unrealistic imaginatio . Just as horses help man a lot and run much faster, but is only a slave, robots benefit mankind a lot and work much more efficient, but let it be a slave forever like current situatio though there would be some o osite sides. Using robots replacing mankind in more and more fields is an unchangeable trend. Faced with that, we should give ourselves more confidence on our good a istants or servicemen (robots) rather than fear the sky might fall, expecting the best, not the worst.
